This is a fabulous website to visit and explore. It's almost as good as a visit to the beautiful site of the barge, waterfront museum and surrounding gardens. Hopefully soon it will be warm enough to get out for some plein air painting! My friends and colleagues from the Brooklyn watercolor society really enjoy painting in your backyard. I painted this particular piece on a gorgeous June day, It was a bit windy, so I had to deal with getting my easel grounded, but it was really worth it. The process is just as important to me as the finished product, and being outside in the elements is my favorite.
