Lehigh Valley at Red Hook by Ella Yang (c)2008
As I was scouting Red Hook for painting ideas, I came across this barge. An irresistible red amidst crumbling concrete, piles of rocks and old brick. And, on a late spring morning I could not pass up the opportunity to paint with the sounds of seagulls, buoys, and the lapping water in the background.
