Hudson River Park: Pier 84
The Tug Pegasus and the Lehigh Valley No. 79 visited Pier 84 twice in 2009 for the Hudson/Fulton/Champlain Quadricentennial. The Spring visit featured free public tug trips, free barge tours, a staged-reading of Budd Schulberg's play "On the Waterfront" performed by the Brave New World Repertory Theatre and a "Tug & Barge" Community Fundraiser. Returnng in the fall, the "Tug & Barge" joined a host of other historic vessels including the Tug Urger, Tug Cornell, NYS Canal Barge Peckinpaw, and the Sloop Clearwater for the first North River Historic Ship Festival.
