Port of Call:
The Waterfront Museum’s first public port-of-call was Hoboken in 1989. Thanks to New Jersey Transit, the Mayor’s office, Hoboken Arts Council’s Geri Fallo, the Hudson County Division of Cultural and Heritage Affairs, vibrant business leaders like Daniel Gans and George Vallone and community leaders like Carter Craft and Bob Foster, the Museum returned in 1990 and again in 2009. Activities have included tug rides, circuses, lectures, films, school trips and much more. A grant is pending that would bring the barge again to Hoboken for a stay during 2012.
