Tug & Barge Tours

Several times a year, we leave our Red Hook, Brooklyn homeport to take the show on the road. The Waterfront Museum's 1914 Barge #79 has no motor, but with the help of a tugboat, we can bring our free and low-cost programs to ports as close as Manhattan or as far away as Waterford above Albany.

Teaming up with the 1907 Tug Pegasus, in 2010, we traveled to the new Brooklyn Bridge Park and Manhattan's Hudson River Park where we had a non-stop program of activities, including a Sea Chanty concert, free boat tours, deep sea diver Lenny under the boat, and much more. To find out about upcoming trips or reserve your spot for an unforgettable voyage, email dsharps@waterfrontmuseum.org.
