Tug & Barge Tours

Blue button on right shows 2013 schedule. Each year, we leave our Red Hook, Brooklyn homeport to take the show on the road. The Waterfront Museum's barge has no motor, but with the help of a tugboat, we transport our free and low-cost programs to ports as close as Manhattan or as far away as Waterford above Albany.  This year we will travel to Hudson River Park Pier 25 June 20 - 27 and Brooklyn Bridge Park Pier 6 June 27 - July 10.

Teaming up with the 1907 Tug Pegasus since 2009, over 24,000 visitors have come aboard for programs in ports of call including Hoboken, NJ, Brooklyn Bridge Park, Manhattan's Hudson River Park, Riverdale, Cold Spring, Poughkeepsie, Kingston, Hudson, the Waterford Tugboat Round-up.  Sign up to receive info about upcoming tours.
