Membership Details and Categories |

Membership in the Dredgers Canoe Club is open to any person as a Deckhand membership. We ask Deckhand members to contribute a $25 annual donation. This is a tax-deductible donation that provides the money to pay for our public programs and equipment.
Membership is voluntary, and you do NOT need to be a member to participate in any of our programs, or to volunteer to help. Members receive no exclusive benefits, other than the privilege of voting in our elections. It is just a way of showing your support for the Gowanus Dredgers Canoe Club and its objectives.
By joining our organization, you will be contributing to our program dedicated to environmental restoration through recreation and education. You will receive notices of important events and meetings that will make a clean, safe, waterfront become a reality. Please donate online or mail a check payable to The Gowanus Dredgers to the address above.
All members are eligible to purchase an annual "equipment fee" ($75) which offers unlimited use of equipment by appointment. All other members are allowed to use equipment for 15 minuites at our public events. We offer the following membership categories:
